Ancient Bards at Made of Metal 2014
On August 17th Ancient Bards will play at the Made of Metal Festival in Hodonin, Czech Republic. Marshall, founder of the Official World Ancient Bards Fanclub, asked me a few questions about the festival, so I’ll report here our little interview:
M: How are the preparations going for the Made Of Made Festival.
S: They’re going great! Since Fabio has left the band we have a guest now, Simone Bertozzi, who will follow us on tour. We’ve been rehearsing together and the chemistry is tangible, we’re very happy!M: How Do You Feel About Playing At The Festival.
S: We’re excited, it looks like it’s going to be an awesome festival! The line up is awesome, but the main ingredient for making a great festival is the audience and I hear it will be wild! We literally can’t wait to rock with you all.M: Have You Decided On Which Songs You Will Play
S: Sort of, we have a few sets prepared, we’ll see what we’ll be in the mood to play that day 😉M: Will There Be A Live Video Recorded.
S: No, not an official oneM: What Can The Fans Expect From The Ancient Bards
S: Well I hope they can expect an exciting show because we will for sure put all our hearts and energy in it!M: Finally Any Message You Want To Say To The People Going
S: We are looking forward to playing at Made of Metal and we hope to be able to meet you, so come and say hi if you see us! “ancient selfies” are in store for everybody!
See ya folks!

The Ancient Bards show at Made of Metal was awesome! I was looking forward to seeing your live show since I first heard the first album, and I have to say that it exceeded all my expectations, it was a blast! I’m really happy that I was there – well in fact Ancient Bards was the main reason for me to go to this festival ;-). And also happy that there was the old “AOTK” T-shirts to buy, I really liked the simple design with the sword on the side, but when I finally decided to buy them online they had pulled out of the e-shop. And even happier that I managed to collect the autographs and take a photo with you and and an another one along with my wife and the complete band :-).
I really hope they you guys will come to the Czech Republic (or at least somewhere nearby – Vienna, Munich perhaps?) again soon, we’ll be there for sure! 🙂
Oh and also thanks for the TBCSS story posts, I discovered them only today and can’t wait to read through it, it’s a great idea to put it down as a real story.
Hey Stepan, thank you very much! It was lovely to be able to meet you all and a pleasure to take photos 🙂 I’m glad you like the posts about the saga, I’m sorry I can’t post more regularly though.
Cheers!
Hi Sara, thanks for reply! 🙂 No problem really, I still have some homework to do reading the older saga posts ;-). And processing and uploading images from Made of Metal, like the Ancient Bards here: http://stepan.lavondyss.cz/mom/2014/ab/ 🙂
Wow beautiful pictures, thank you very much!!!
Yes, especially the one where Martino shoved a pen up his nose :-D. But some of them are sufficiently good, for a compact camera standards at least… But the most beautiful are those where is just that beautiful blonde singer and no ugly guys around ;-).
Martino does that from time to time LOL
Thank you again!
